Safety Update – To help keep the class environment safe for parents and children, I have invested in three HEPA Antiviral Air Purifiers and negative Ionisers which is another layer of protection for those who use the academy that is a long term protection from airborne viruses and sterilise the air at the same time.
Our priority is to deliver face-to-face, high-quality STEM academy provision to all pupils and students including early years.
COVID-19 SAFETY EXPECTATIONS

To minimise the risk to public health presented by the spread of COVID-19 while learning, students are expected to adhere to the following expectations and instructions;
I will follow instructions to thoroughly sanitise or wash my hands using the equipment provided when I arrive at the door.
I will follow instructions regarding the sanitisation of table surfaces and equipment.
I will follow instructions regarding seating instructions.
I will closely monitor my health and will not attend sessions or participate in face-to-face activities if I feel sick or if I develop or display symptoms of COVID-19.
If I have a positive test result for COVID-19 or I develop symptoms before the sessions and after school clubs, I agree to notify the NHS and call the STEM Academy on 01280 811 356 and must stay at home of the period of 10 days.
I acknowledge the importance of following COVID-19 classroom Safety Practices and I understand that should I fail to meet any of these expectations I may be subject to action as per the Student Social Code of Conduct.
All sanitisation of tables, plastic chairs and STEM equipment will be consistently disinfected. Regular handwashing is encouraged during sessions. Windows will also be left open for ventilation and HEPA Antiviral Air Purifiers will be used.
